Book yourself on to one of our Open Days. We hold regular events to give you the opportunity to experience what life at the AECC is like – including everything from the application process to a campus tour to how to find accommodation. You can’t beat this first-hand experience of college life and campus atmosphere!
Submit Your Application
Once you have decided that the AECC is the best place for you to study, you will need to make your formal application through UCAS. Our institution code is A65 and the MChiro programme code is B320. Make sure you apply by 15th January to ensure you meet the UCAS deadline. We may accept late applications, however cannot guarantee this.
Applicant Interview Days
We will review your application once we have received it through UCAS (normally within one week). If your application meets our minimum requirements, we will be delighted to welcome you to an interview day so that we can get to know you better. The interviews will take place with a senior member of admissions staff or faculty and will be held as group interviews, lasting around 35–45 minutes. The interview will be based primarily around your understanding and experiences of the chiropractic profession. You may also be asked to discuss a range of healthcare and clinical issues affecting the wider society today.
The interview day also gives you the opportunity to meet your potential fellow students and ask any questions you may have. After your interview, we aim to inform you of the outcome within five working days.
If you are unable to attend an Applicant Interview Day, we will carry out an interview with you by Skype. Please note that this is carried out in exceptional circumstances only, for example if you live abroad, because we would prefer, where possible, to meet you in person.
After your interview, we aim to inform you of the outcome within five working days.
After applying and interviewing, we may have offered you either an unconditional or a conditional place on our course.
If you have been offered an unconditional place at the AECC then we look forward to welcoming you to the college in September.
If you have been offered a conditional place at the AECC then receiving your results will be a pivotal time for you. We hope that you have secured the grades that we have asked of you – if so, congratulations! If your grades aren’t what you needed, then please do get in touch with us to discuss your application further.
